Q: I haven't played before, how do i get involved? Getting involved is easy, simply come to one of our Come and Try days Upcoming Events Q: When are the Games played? Tball, Zooka Ball & Little League are played on Sunday Mornings, Junior League & Senior League games are Saturday Mornings. Adult Games are split between Saturday and Sunday Afternoons. Q: Where are games Played? Juniors games are played (mostly) at Belmont, Toronto, Gateshead, Wallsend, Mayfield West & Maitland. Senior games may also include playing at Woodberry, Seaham, & Nelson Bay. Q: When is Training? All Training held is at Plattsburg Park on Thursday's (Sunday's until the season starts) Junior Training for LL, JL & SL runs from 4:30pm - 6:00pm Senior Training is from 5:30pm thru to 8:00pm Q: Apart from Registration what is needed? A white pair of Baseball Pants, smaller sizes can be purchased from the club. Training Shirts are included within registration costs for all members. Juniors teams are loaned Playing Tops for the season, Seniors are required to purchase a playing top. Playing Hats are required to be purchased from the club Gloves for younger ages can be borrowed, but we prefer each player has there own glove. Each coach will have a team kit supplied that will have bats and balls etc. Q: How can I help? We encourage all Family and Friends to get involved in the fun & learn the game. There are fundraising events throughout the year, these are good opportunities to get involved. Q: How does the club communicate during the season? The club uses TeamApp to publish in-season news, Weekly team and game details. Wash outs are communicated via TeamApp and our Facebook page. |
