White Sox Baseball club is the oldest in the Newcastle Baseball Association, having been established in 1946.
The Newcastle Baseball Association is a Winter Competition and typically runs from late March to late September.
Since 2015, we have been located at Plattsburg Park, Hope Street, Wallsend. We proudly consider this one of the premier facilities in the region.
We cater for TBall, Junior Baseball and Seniors Baseball.
White Sox take great pride in being a family friendly club and emphasise fun, sportsmanship and opportunities for all to enjoy the game.
There is no level of skill or experience necessary.
So come along, get involved, be active and most of all, have fun!

Coaching and Support
We take great pride in the expertise of our coaches. All our support staff have Working With Children Certificates. We also encourage parent participation in coaching, scoring, umpiring and club activities, and actively provide support to ensure a positive experience for the entire family.
We take great care in ensuring all new players and Junior players entering the Senior ranks are provided quality mentorship to ensure a smooth transition and the enhancement of skill and confidence.
Representative Opportunities
Baseball is only growing in popularity and more and more representative opportunities are arising. In fact, the Newcastle Association is home to a number of Australian Baseball League Players, and those that have had successful pursuits overseas.
For those pursuing representative opportunities, the NBA, Baseball NSW and Australia have well structured representative programs available.
White Sox are proud to say we have frequent participation in the Newcastle Representative teams and beyond. These opportunities begin from Little League, and available all they way through Junior and Senior Ball, for both men and women alike.
